Get It From Your Daddy. Girls one look this summer is inspired by the guys. The boyfriend/ pops look is at its best with crisply tailored classics with a girly twist. Like the pic above of the Ralph Lauren outfit. She's wearing a bomber jacket in gold metallic. The key to pulling off this look off is not appearing too mannish. You have to balance menswear pieces with something feminine like a tuxedo jacket with an evening gown, or even rolled up men's jeans with a soft shirt girl shirt.

On a serious note so many people are feeling down all of a sudden. I spoke with a few of my friends last night and it's a problem. Sadness is in the air. Personally my emotions go up and down on a drop of a dime. I'm busy with school, work, internship, and this clothing line and it takes a toll on my love life at times. Money is Runnin' DRY

Saks 5th ave is down a whoppin 99million dollars in the 4th quarter! THAT'S 154.9 MILLION FOR THE YR!!! what a dump to be in! A main reason for this is the holiday season that just passed. Saks lowered it prices in order to adjust to the recession madness, but profit was still low even after 70% cut om mercandise. This at the same time angered Designs b/c it made it even so harder to sell their products at full price. This Recession is in full effect. Saks chairman Stephen I. Sadove had this to say:

"Although it is policy not to comment on bankruptcy rumors, all of the actions [Saks is taking] are ensuring we are free cash flow positive in 2009. Bankruptcy would destroy shareholder value. Our intent is to insure and enhance shareholder value.”

God bless them, the worst is yet to come.

Is there Hope for America?

So President Obama addressed Congress and the Nation on Tuesday night(2/24). Let me take a min to get into what he spoke about. He stated the country's current state and where he believes we as a nation will slowly be headed once we get over this hump. "We will rebuild. We will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before,". He spoke with such assurance I started to believe it, until he punched some numbers in. I understand in order to make money you have to spend money, but 787 BILLION dollars! Obama assured the nation with this money we will be able to create jobs and get the country rolling, people will be able to obtain loans and purchase homes again. On another note he urged all Americans to obtain at least one yr of higher Education, ummm I think he's onto something. But think about this, the easier it is to get a college degree the harder the ball game beomes. Sooner or later college degrees will mean nothing. None the less here's the video come up our own opinions....

So BMW's Fashion took place last week. Sadly i wasn't able to go but i did enjoy the collection via pics, videos and so forth. Some of the featured Designers were: Calvin Klein,Badgley Mischka, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Christian Siriano, Diane Furstenberg, DKNY, Domenico Vacca, Ralph Lauren, Miss Sixty and much more. This Movie is a must see. I saw it on V-day and it REALLY Impressed me. Great cast, setting, and story line. It's about 4 Jewish brothers in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe that escape into the Belarussian forests, where they join Russian resistance fighters and endeavor to build a village in order to protect themselves and about 1,000 Jewish non-combatants. It has gun fights and sex what more can you ask for? I hope this gets nominated for an Oscars in 2010. Peep the Clip:

All-Star Games

The NBA all star games were this wkend, the West won the game, but the Dunk Contest was the best part. YES! I'm more into the Dunking to be honest. Nate Robinson took the trophy home for NEW YORK.
